iOS Mobile Web Browsing share has gone really high this month of over 60%. Android falls too short when compared to iOS. May be, the Android users are not having a good browsing experience?
Apple has been dominating the mobile industry successfully for years now, providing rich mobile browsing experience to its users via Mobile Safari on their iOS devices. This has been evident in a recent statistics that has been released showing how different mobile OS users contribute to the web browsing. And unsurprisingly, iOS stands sturdy.
Apple’s Mobile Safari got a number of improvements, in terms of speed and usability, recently via iOS 5 update. And looks like the users are finding it really easy to use their iOS device to browse the internet. The statistics shows Apple has over 60% of the entire mobile web traffic.
The non-Apple devices fall short in this competition. Apple iOS’ main rival, Android seems to be falling far behind iOS in this case. And the stats bar obviously increases when you provide rich user experiences for the users to browse the internet. This can be a evidence that the Android users are finding it difficult to browse the internet with their devices.
Android’s share is not more than 20% in the graph. Personally, I have been using some Android devices and Tablets for a while and the graph tell exactly why I don’t use them to browse the internet. With a clumsy look and not so good mobile browsers in Android, iOS is a clear winner!
