Google’s Chrome OS gets revamped. It’s now clean and fresh and boots in 8 secs!

Google’s Chromebook OS has been revamped with fresh new login screens and a cleaner and tidier looks to the Operating System that is internet based. The new OS now has made it easy to manage apps.

Looks like Google has been working on their Chromebook OS for a while and while it almost got unnoticed and forgotten, the search giant has released a newer version of the internet base operating system.Google’s Senior Product Manager, Venkat Rapaka said this in a blogpost today.

The new face lifted OS is now having a streamlined user interface. Especially the new login screen, that is clean, neat and minimalistic. Besides this, he also shared that there are a lot of new features and streamlined user interfaces across the Operating System, making it easy for the user to use.

Now, Microsoft showed that Windows 8 would boot in just 8 seconds at their first BUILD conference, of which they messed up their not so stable product’s keynote. So, what did Google do about this? Well, they even shortened the Chrome OS’ boot time to just 8 seconds. Besides these, an improved tab feature has been added to the OS to manage our bookmarks and apps very easily.

Moreover, talking about the hardware that are coming up for the Chrome OS, Mr. Venkat, has also said that the company is working closely with some of their partners to get hardware for the OS up and running in many parts of the world. And Samsung now has a sleek, black version of a Wi-Fi only model of Chromebook in the US.
