Google today unveiled a refreshed interface for Google Reader. But many people find it difficult to get adapted to the new design. Are you also on the same boat? Share your thoughts here and I will forward it to the Google team.
Google is rolling out a new refreshed interface for their Google Reader. The new interface looks really rich but many feel that they have a clustered interface that people are feeling it difficult to use. Initially.
The new Reader has been tightly equipped with Google+, allowing you to share the post you like right from Google Reader itself with your Google+ friends. The interface is the same as that of the new face-lift that GMail and other Google services like Google Calendar got later this year.
You will now see a colorful +1 button below every feed item instead of Like button. They have also dropped the Google Reader’s Notes section. Instead, they have allowed you to comment on the posts with Google+ profile. This might turn out to be an advantage for the Webmasters, since their posts are more likely to get more +1 and comments are Google Plus.
This is a smart move by Google, directing the users to engage with Google+, which is having a varied traffic right now. As you might also know, Google pulled the plugs-off on Google Buzz in-order to concentrate more on Google Plus.
Do you think the new interface for Google Reader is awesome? Infact, I think the old interface was much sleeker than the present one. Leave a comment sharing your feeling about Google Reader’s new interface, and I will forward the feedback to Google if necessary!
