“Unfortunately, that day has come.” was the statement Steve Jobs made when he resigned his post as the CEO of Apple on 24th of April 2011. And today, October 5th, Steve Jobs passed away leaving a major dent in our hearts and making us cry.
Apple was the main reason I came into this blogging industry and now, we seem to have lost the cult icon who created Apple from ground-up. Steve’s vision to make computer to be used by all the citizens of the world has now come true. Computers were like something people cannot imagine to be using at their home, and Jobs understood that it could be a device that could be more than what people think what a computer is.
I don’t have words to share what I feel now in loosing Steve Jobs. I feel personally disturbed on hearing this news. And still, I’m not able to accept this loss. I have always tried to change the way people work and Steve was my only inspiration and he will be my inspiration for the rest of my life. Somehow somewhere I believe that Steve’s still has a lot in-line for us.
He was the living proof for many, many of us. His life was an example that would say that this is your life and you can change the world your way and change the way the world works.
I’m sure you planned for all these. And as far as I heard from people close to you and me, you planned your resignation knowing what would happen to you! And I’m very sure that you knew that WWDC 2011 was the Final keynote you’d ever make.
All I would say is that,
“Steve, you achieved what you wanted to do. And I wish you’d come back. I miss you Steve. You are such an inspiration! You were my un-interacted mentor.”
