Apple has reportedly made the iTunes Match, the service that lets you store your media on the cloud is now available in UK region!
Many of my friends have confirmed that iTunes 10.5 which was released yesterday has given access to iTunes on the cloud, called the iCloud Music. iTunes on Cloud was unveiled at WWDC 2011 by Steve Jobs.
If you are not aware of what iTunes on Cloud is, it lets you sync your purchased music across the devices and lets you store your music on the cloud. iTunes Match was a US-only service when it was unveiled, and Eddie Cue promised that the service will be available in the UK later this year.
That time has come now. The service is available in UK. People are able to download songs they purchased ages ago. The service also matches the songs in your library and sync it with the Apple’s Servers.
The service is not yet available in the iTunes app on iPhone. This is currently desktop only! I will keep you posted about the service updates from Apple’s iCloud as and when I find them. Please share it with your UK friends so that they will enjoy the new service!
