Many users are facing the Error 3200, which is due to the signing issue for your device. Apple’s servers are running hot due to heavy requests to it.
Apple released iOS 5 to the general public few hours back and many users are getting frustrated with the iTunes Error 3200. This error occurs when people try to restore their device to iOS 5.
Some people have reported that trying to restore for many attempts have solved the issue. The major reason for this error is due to the instant release of many updated to both Mac and iOS 5 to the public. The servers are crashing frequently due to the number of incoming requests.
One solution to solve this issue would be to restore your device once again. So that you have a chance of getting your iDevice signed by the Apple’s servers. Your iOS device might become inresponsive since Apple’s server will not authenticate your device. Be patient and wait until you start hearing reports that the servers are back up.
[alert_box] Tip: The Error 3200 tells that iTunes was not able to connect to Apple’s Servers. [/alert_box]The Apple’s servers are serving only half the requests it gets. The download rates have gone pretty low and takes really long time to complete the downloads. Some users might also face problems with iCloud initially, since the servers are busy serving requests for Authenticating iOS devices.
Another good solution would be to download the IPSWs directly and then restore it by holding the Shift button and pressing the Restore button on iTunes 10.5. Here are the Direct Links for iOS 5.
iCloud might not be accessible until the servers are up and running again! Apple is currently working on Authenticating issue on their servers. And the servers should be back up in a few hours. I will keep you posted about the Status as soon as I get some info. Until then, follow me on Twitter (@ImKarthikK). Until then, keep yourself updated about the new features of iOS 5.
