Enable Motion Blur special Effects in Launchpad and Mission Control on OS X Lion

Enable Motion Blur effect in Launchpad and Mission Control on Mac OS X Lion 10.7. This simple tutorial will help you enable this super cool feature.

Apple unveiled Mac OS X Lion (10.7) at the WWDC 2011 with over 250 new user features to it. And one of the most talked about feature that Mac OS X Lion bought is the Mission Control and also a new way to launch your installed app, called the Launchpad.

There is a simple trick with which you could enable this beautiful feature on your Mac OS X Lion. All you need to do is:

  • Enable Mission Control or Launchpad
  • Press Command + m on your keyboard
  • Test your Mission Control animation now.
The new effect is only available for Mac OS X Lion and this easy trick will get you with that trick. The effect is really nice. And obviously the animation comes by consuming some amount of RAM. The effect will be persistent even after restart.

If you want to disable this feature, just press Command + m again either in Mission Control or Launchpad again!
