Google is reportedly working on a cellular service in Spain. The pictures below depict their SIM card and their cellular service’s codename.
Google has been tasting success with Android. And now, they want to move to the next level. Google is reportedly testing its own cellular service in Spain.
Reports claim that the pictures below are the Google SIM Card and also, a Google Nexus S phone running on Google_Es network. The company is trying to become a Virtual Network Operator, if these are believed to be true. As a Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO), Google will lease an existing mobile service provider and piggyback their network.
The picture above is the SIM card. Google is almost in its final stage of testing since the cards have already been printed. If Google comes up with this service, many of its online services would be made available for their smartphones. Like Google Voice, Google Talk, Gmail, etc., I’ll keep you posted about this news now and then!
