Samsung has taken a step to modify some parts of Galaxy phones that were banned from sales in EU. They’d be changing the stock Gallery app and the photo flicking feature.
Samsung has been doing this job of copying the design that Apple owns and in the right time, Apple sued Samsung for their patent infringement.
With regards to this, Samsung has been already been barred from selling their Galaxy device in Australia for this case and now they have been banned from selling this in the Europe Union.
A Dutch judge passed the request from Apple to stop Samsung from selling their copied Galaxy devices in the Europe. As a result, Samsung has taken a step to come over this ban and Change some of its parts of Galaxy S II and Ace. A Dutch website called Tweakers reports this news and it seems to be true.
The ban will be overcome by Samsung on issuing a quick fix for the Photo flicking/Navigation issues and Gallery application that seems to infringe Apple’s patent. Once they push this update, they should be able to sell their device.
Samsung’s major mobile market is the European Union. Understanding its importance, Samsung came up with this change immediately. Besides this, Apple can use this patent to stop selling ANY Android device across the world, since the Gallery app that Samsung uses is a stock Android app.
We can see that the case is sliding towards Apple. And as a matter of fact, Apple might win this war!
