Apple has announced some new features to iTunes Connect App for Developers. It now includes a new App Review Status.
Apple has been making some significant improvements to its AppStore and other elements of its products. As a part of this, it has revealed an updated version of it’s iTunes Connect App, which is used by the developers to submit their apps to the App Store.
There are two significant features to the app now. One being the ability to edit the App’s Bundle ID before submitting the Binary Version of the app to the app store and the other is the new App Review Status called the Metadata Rejected.
Developers can now resolve their metadata issue without having to recompile the code and submit the binary again to the app store in case of rejection. The existing Binary is reused and only the metadata is being updated in the app now. This reduces a lot of turnaround time for both the developers and the app review team in getting the app to the app store.
The other major addition is the Bundle ID editing. If your app does not use the Game Center or iAd, you can edit the apps’ Bundle ID with the iTunes Connect App, by just clicking the Edit button next to your Bundle ID under Manage Your Application tab.
