Apple released Mac OS X Lion, the next major revision to their OS X family on 20th this month. With over 250+ features, that were publicized , there are more minor feature additions that are not known to many. One such feature is to maximize an Window to the full screen with a single click. The option that Windows has to maximize its window was not present in OS X Lion previously, but with this release, Apple seemed to have figured it out.
Here’s how you could do it with ease.
- Hold the Option key on your keyboard.
- Click on the + (maximize) button on the Window you need to resize.

This was just a quick tip. Some more tips and tricks are coming up in future posts. Stay tuned. If you need some specific instructions or anything of that sort, please feel free to contact me via twitter (@ImKarthikK) or use the comments section! 🙂
