What’s new in iOS 5 beta 2? [Changelog]

iOS 5 beta 2 was seeded to the developers a few hours back and there are some important changes to it. One of the major change is the WiFi Sync feature that many were waiting for. I’ve already posted on some of the new features and how-tos’ of iOS 5.

Here’s the list of changes that has been incorporated into iOS 5 beta 2.

  • You can now sync your device via WiFi
  • New UI for Notification Center in the lock screen
  • Photo effects
  • Restriction for sending large MMS messages
  • iMessage beta 1 users will not be able to communicate with iMessage beta 2 users.

As I posted already, iOS 5 beta 1 will expire on August 4th. You can either downgrade or upgrade to iOS 5 beta 2 before that date.

I’m still discovering the changes that have been made to iOS 5 beta 2. I will update this post as and when I find something new. Until then, subscribe to my RSS or follow me on twitter (@ImKarthikK)
