Kinect SDK to be unveiled today at Kinect Press Event!

Many developers have been waiting for this for long and the day has come. Microsoft is officially launching the Kinect SDK today at the Kinect Press Event, which starts at 12:00 PM EDT today. The event is expected to last for about 4.5 hours, which looks like Microsoft is going to make some big announcements on Kinect.

Nic Fillingham from Microsoft also revealed that the event will be broadcasted live from Channel 9. They will be using IIS to do a HD 720P streaming. Obviously, you need to have Silverlight installed on your computer for this stream to work.

Kinect is considered to be the biggest ray of hope for Microsoft to make a comeback. And also, it is one of the most innovative product that Microsoft has brought to the market. I have already written about the power of Kinect and its real life uses. Here are the posts that you would not want to miss: View posts under Microsoft Kinect
