Apple not only changed the iPod app for iPad. I’m not sure if you’d noticed this change in iOS 5’s iPod app. But iOS 5 brings some significant changes to the iPod app for iPhone. Until iOS 4, iPod app doesn’t handle larger song titles. They did not behave like iTunes in that case.
But with iOS 5, the new iPod app scrolls song titles from right to left. The scrolling text works on both iPod app and also in the multitasking bar and also on the lockscreen. The scrolling looks really smooth and clean with smoke effects at both the ends of the titles while scrolling. Here are a few screenshots of the scrolling song titles on the new iPod app for iPhone.
