I was exploring the new build of iOS 5 beta 2 and as a part of it, I lost all the apps in my iTunes library. And after I searched for long, I figured out that iTunes already has a method to download all the apps that you’ve purchased before with your Apple ID.
Note: You need to have iTunes 10.3 or later to make this feature work.
- Open iTunes and Sign-in with your Apple ID. This will take you to your country’s Apple Store.
- Click the Home (
) button in iTunes store. This will bring up a Sidebar on the right side.
- Click on the Purchased option. This will take you to the below screen. You will find all the purchased app, music and Books.
- Now select the appropriate tab and Click the Download All (
) option which will be at the bottom of the page.
- This will download all the apps to your computer. You may also choose to download selected apps or books from the store!
Hope this helps! I will keep posting some more tutorials on using Mac , App Store and iCloud soon. Until then, subscribe to my RSS or follow me on twitter (@ImKarthikK)
