The Cupertino based company, Apple Inc., has been showing tremendous growth in their revenue over the past few years and adding to it, today it is valued to be about $301 billion. This huge amount is more than the sum of the three technology powerhouses, Microsoft, Dell and HP.
Microsoft is valued to be ~$200.3 billion, Dell is ~$29.3 billion and HP is ~$72.8 billion. It’s been less than a year since Apple crossed Microsoft’s market cap. The difference in the market cap between Apple and Microsoft seems to be ~$100 billion, which is really huge. The difference itself is more than that of Nokia, Netflix and Research in Motion.
This is what TechCrunch has to say about this report:
Right now, the difference in market capitalization between Apple and Microsoft is roughly $100 billion. That’s more than the combined worth of Research In Motion, Nokia, Netflix and eBay.
Or: $100 billion is the sum of markets cap of Amazon and Adobe.
Or: $100 billion is only $15 billion shy of Intel’s total market cap.
