Many readers have been wondering if the activation method which I posted earlier still works for beta 2. iOS 5 beta 2 was released to the developers yesterday and many non-developer iOS enthusiasts wants to try it out. The happy news is that
And now, if you are too desperate in trying iOS 5 beta 2 on your iDevice, here’s how it is.
- Install iOS 5 beta 2 using iTunes 10.5 beta 2.
- After restoring, press the Home button, this will show the Emergency Call option
- Select the Emergency Call option
- Now, dial 112 and call that number
- While it is in progress, press the Home button.
- This will show up the menu. Now tap Touch to return to call
- Now, Press Home button again. This will bypass the activation and you will be in the main menu.
- Now, end the call.
- You are now on iOS 5 beta 2.
