Music Beta by Google is now live [Cloud] #IO2011

The rumor mill was correct this time. Google’s iTunes killer, Music Beta just went live. [http://music.google.com] The service is invite only for now. This new amazing service is capable of storing and streaming 20,000 songs, which is really a huge number. And it will be free until beta. It looks like the service will not be available for the rest of the world atleast for sometime.

This is what the website has to say:

Music Beta is a new service from Google that gives you instant access to your personal music collection without the hassle of wires or syncing. Add your music collection and listen on the web or any compatible Android device.

I’ll keep you posted about the status of the invite. I’m not sure if this will work with iOS. But the service is said to be working on Web and Android.
