Google, one of the giant of this internet world, has introduced "Google Sidewiki", a comment moderation tool, that appears on the left side of a website as a narrow pop-up menu, and displays all the messages from the users about that particular content of the page.
These messages can be made visible to other Sidewiki users too, who visit that particular page.The Sidewiki users can post their own comments, but they are not given the rights to edit other Sidewiki user’s comments.
Google says that Sidewiki is a way for the internet users to contribute insight and helpful information next to any web page. Sidewiki, will be included as a feature of Google Toolbar for Major browsers.
But, unfortunately, I’m seeing many bloggers and webmasters, having less hopes and expectations for Google Sidewiki. Lets see how google makes this a big hit. 🙂
